Day 1: Pickup from Entebbe Airport to Kampala
On your arrival, you will meet your guide who will transfer you to Kampala at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay
Day 2: Drive from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, we shall take a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park with Lunch on route or we branch to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary that gives you an opportunity of viewing the Rhinos at a closer range.
After we transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with a visit to the top of the falls with a remarkable sight and sound of the Nile crushing through a narrow gorge.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
After a cup of tea, we set of for an early morning game drive to the northern part of the park where you will spot a number of Elephants, Buffalos, giraffes, hyenas, and Uganda kops, among others.
Return at the lodge as we relax at the swimming pool waiting for our lunch, which will be followed by by a tremendous boat cruise along the calm Victoria Nile, and at the base of the fall sighting the Hippos, Crocodiles and over 20 unique bird species such as the Goliath Heron, Bee-Eaters, Kingfishers, Cormorants and many more.
Day 4: Transfer from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park
Enjoy our breakfast this morning and afterwards we set off for the quick drive to Kibale Forest National Park via the Albertan Escarpment of the western Rift Valley to Fort portal through a beautiful countryside homesteads, farms and shadows of Rwenzori Mountains. Dinner and overnight stay at Ndali lodge\Chimps Nest\Mountains of the moon.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi walk
Wake up for a heavy breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing about Chimp tracking. This will be followed by searching these apes that will also enable you to view other primates like the colobus monkeys, bush babies and many more as you guide provides more information about them. After lunch, we will have a nature walk to Bigodi wetland Sanctuary for a number of birds and unique flora and fauna.
Day 6: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After our breakfast, we will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a wide game view en route for 2-3 hours like Elephants, Buffaloes, leopards, and Hyenas. Reach early enough for lunch and relax.(we won’t do a boat here since you have already done one in Murchison Falls ) and have an evening game drive in the Ishasha sector.
Day 7: Drive from Queen Elizabeth to Mt. Sabyinyo
After an early breakfast, we shall transfer to the southwestern Uganda to Kisoro District with a stop in Kabale town for Lunch.
We shall arrive at the lodge, relax and we prepare for the next hiking day.
Day 8: Hike Mt. Sabyinyo
After breakfast, we shall drive to the park headquarters for briefing before hiking the 3,654m of Sabyinyo. It is a one-day hike and hiking hours depend on how fast you are.
Day 9: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
We shall transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable rain forest, arrive in the afternoon for lunch, relax and then have an evening walk to the Batwa community, The Batwa (known as “pygmies” in the west ) are one of the oldest surviving tribes of Africa, but there culture, identity and language are are under increasing threat. We shall visit there community as they take us through their life styles for example the traditional ways of making fire among others.
We shall there after return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Gorilla tracking and Lake Bunyonyi
The day is here when we shall encounter the gorilla forest to meet and greet with the world’s most gentle primates in one of the dense tropical rain forests of the world that will reward you with once in a life time un ending smiles and memories after setting your eyes on the massive ‘Mountain Gorillas’. The tracking is never easy or hard, its always fun walking through the jungle and experiencing what life is like in the forest. The hike might be shorter or long depending on the Gorilla movements.
After tracking, we shall then drive to Lake Bunyonyi. The lake is home to 29 Islands with amazing histories and a lot of bird life, so if you are a fun of birds, you will probably have the best time for bird watching.
Day 11: Activities at Lake Bunyonyi
This is an adventure day with activities like boat ride to the Islands, bird watching, nature walks, zip lining and canoeing.
Day 12: Transfer to Entebbe Guest House.
This is the last day of our Gorilla, Wildlife and Adventure Safari, We shall transfer to Entebbe international Airport at 8am with a quick stop at Lake Mburo National Park for chances to spot the zebras, Impalas, Topis and Elands for only 2 hours.
Later have Lunch and continue to Entebbe Guest House to catch up with your flight.
DAY 13: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport.
